Connections

Try to interconnect using RS-422 when possible. Available TTL output for older instruments are available.
Use the RS-232 Serial I/O for testing data and avoid connection of AC computers with DC powered instruments via RS-232
It is always better to install RS-422 ports in the computer to avoid RS-232 connections.

Power Supply

The NM-251A can be powered within the range of 10-35 VDC. The nominal voltage of 24 Vdc is advised for powering the device in normal operation. Power input port has a protection for incorrect polarity connection of the supplying voltage.
